Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my beautiful little Libby. The sweetest dog and loyal companion for the last 15 1/2 years .Cant imagine life without you .Always in my heart xx

It makes me so sad to read this nd I understand how sad you are. I have 5 cats and I know how hard it is to let one animal, who is your best friend and a part of the family, go. I feel with you

Oh Louise!
I am awfully sorry to hear this. But I have to say, 15 1/2 years is a long time! How blessed you were to have had her that long! My best friend only made it eight years and I had to put him down because of cancer. Now I have s new little buddy. One of these days I hope you do too.

It's Vicky Downs. Oh Louise I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your beloved Libby, I have only just seen it on your website. Having had dogs all of my married life I know how heartbreaking it is to lose your companion, & although 15 1/2 is a good long life, it doesn't make it any easier does it. They are part of the family & they are always there for you no matter what. Your heart feels like lead, as you know things will never be the same. I lost my dear Ellie over 2 years ago now, she was my shadow for 13 years & I still miss her so much even now. Just keep your memories close to your heart, I know it's heard to remember them but thats what gets you through the bad day's. I hope it gets a bit easier as the days go by.
