I was planning to take him back to the beach today , he had survived a week with me which included escaping from his bowl , a long drop and trotting under the kitchen table , not being trodden on or eaten by the dog !
When I started to clear out the home I had made for him I got a real shock when a bigger Charlie emerged from amongst the stones .I couldn't believe how much he had grown , he had shed his old crab shell in the night !

Back where he belongs .....

Yay for Charlie - I love happy endings. Maybe Charlie liked it at your house, with free food and accomodations. I'd love to know what Charlie thinks of being plunked back at the sea lol.

sorry for not having been much online recently and therefore not having commented on your lovely stories about i.e. Charlie. What a happy ending! Recently I've looked after a female duck, coming to our garden, and who was sick. She's fine now, too; it makes me so happy!
