Hugglets show

The show was very busy yesterday with the queue trailing down to Kensington High street and lots of bears found new homes . It was lovely to meet and chat to new and old customers and friends .

Easter bunny going to Hugglets

This white bunny is getting ready to travel to London this weekend for the Hugglets show.
He is 4.5 ins including his ears and has lovely lilac glass eyes .

Spring Teapot for Hugglets

This is a Spring teapot for the Hugglets show ,The teapot is 4 inches tall and the bear is 2 3/4 inches.....will post another soon.

Getting ready for Hugglets

I shall be attending Hugglets Winterbear fest on february 24th ,just a taster of something I have ready .This piece is called Spring Ride .We have had some lovely sunny days and the Daffodils are all starting to bloom which has inspired me to make some Spring pieces and Easter is very early this year.
This little girl looks so pretty in her blue bonnet and dress.The dress has a lot of detail which just doesnt show in the photo.She is 2 3/4 inches tall and rides in her basket with vintage flowers pulled by two sweet chicks.I really loved making this piece.More coming soon......

Lotty and her pink bunny

Here is Lotty ,she is 3.75 inches tall and made from lovely long pile fabric with guard hairs.She has a beautiful dress made from antique lace and antique rosebud trim.Lotty cuddles her tiny pink bunny made from soft velvety rayon.As always she is one of a kind.

Oscar and Willow ,Toyland !!!

Two new Toyland characters Oscar and Willow .They are both about 4 inches .Oscar is made from vintage rayon and Willow from hand dyed silk plush.

Daniel ,snug and warm

Daniel is just 2 1/2 inches tall and made in soft long pile .He is snug and warm in his designer jumper knitted by june.

Valentine Sweetheart

Little Sweetheart is a new design ,if he stretches he just about reaches 3 3/4 inches tall made from a lovely dark brown fabric with guard hairs.His locket has a picture of himself in and is ready for his sweethearts picture to be added .I hope he melts your heart.

Two new little Toyland girls ,Valerie and Victoria Valentine,both one if a kind,4 inches tall.

I do hope someone falls for Edward and gives him a home.

Happy New Year ,First bear of 2008

I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
Louis is my first bear and a new design.He is 3.5 inches and made from sparse mohair.
His suit is pink and aqua silk with an off white ruffle.

He is 3 inches tall and made from soft long pile fabric.

Littlest Angel

This little angel is such a pretty pink with violet glass eyes and a deep plum nose.I made her a pair of tiny wings out of vintage rayon.These just tie on and can be removed when she is not being so angelic !! She is 4 inches tall.

Here are two of my new Christmas bears .
Nicholas is 2 1/2" and made in vintage long pile in gold and hand dyed deep green with a red velvet collar.
Emily is 3" made from vintage long pile in a fawn colour with a beautiful fur hat ,stole and muff trimmed with holly.

Christmas in Toyland

The Toyland Gang are preparing fpr Christmas ,they have been busy ,getting all the decorations out ,decorating the tree and reading Christmas stories.
Little vintage style friends which are all around 4 inches and all one of a kind. Holly,Ivy ,Noel and Robin all made from vintage rayon or silk plush with glass eyes and weighted so they feel nice to hold.

Gerda ,ready for chilly weather !

Little Gerda already looks as if she has been playing outside with those blushed cheeks.She is so warm and cosy in her outfit.Her tiny ankle boots ,cuffs and skirt are all trimmed in twinkly yarn.June has knitted her a fluffy white hat and scarf and I have created tiny snowmen on the ends of the scarf.

Wee Jack is only 2 inches tall and made from soft red long pile.He hides in his trunk with dolly who is made from pipecleaners so posable.

Constance ,pretty in pink !!

Constance is 3 inches tall and looks so pretty in her silk dress with ribbon rosettes.
She is made from vintage long pile with glass eyes.She just needs a party to go to now !1

Ophelia a summer fairy

Little Ophelia is flying off to live in Australia.She is 2 1/2" ,made from soft long pile with glass eyes and her fairy costume is made from vintage petals with a vintage flower headband.
