Scarecrow Festival in my home town

In Wilmslow for the next ten days there is a Scarecrow Festival . A lot of the local shops / restaurants /public houses have taken part in this and whilst out yesterday I took pictures of some of my favourite ones ! Can you guess what sort of business they belonged to ?

Libertine a patriotic clown bear

Libertine is 2.25 inches tall not including his hat and made from vintage long pile velvet and vintage rayon . He has onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .Silk ribbon and tiny pompoms complete his outfit and I have made him a feather tickling stick ! Weighted .One only .

A fine afternoon out !

Last Sunday afternoon the weather warmed up and the sun shone so Nick , Libby and I went off to Tatton Park and spent a good three hours walking .

Leonie ,tiny sprite snuggled in a swan

Leonie is a tiny 1.75 inch prite bear made from vintage cashmere with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .She snuggles into her swan which is made from white long pile fabric with onyxeyes and adorned with pink forget me nots .The swan rides on a blue silk base with antique ribbon trim .Weighted .One only Adopted

Mirabelle on her swing

Mirabelle is a very pretty 2.5 inch bear made from vintage long pile velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose . She wears a vintage pink voile dress with ribbon sash and has a ribbon rose on her ear .
She sits on her own swing under the gorgeous rose arch in her garden . She is not attatched to the swing so can be taken off . Weighted .One only. Adopted

Bryony on her chair

Bryony is a 2inch bear made from vintage long pile velvet with a very pretty lilac cotton dress with a tiny butterfly print.She sits on her own chair which is very pretty ,hand painted and decorated with flowers, she also holds one in her hand .Weighted .one only . Adopted

Flit on his butterfly

Flit is a tiny 1.75 inch sprite made from vintage cashmere with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose . Rayon hat and antique ribbon ruffle .He rides an antique metallic mesh butterfly which is much nicer than it comes across in the picture .They are just coming into land on a posy of beautiful velvet vintage blooms .One only. Peony a little plump bee bear

Peony is a 2inch plump little bee bear made from shocking pink vintage long pile velvet with natural white . She has onyx eyes and an embroidered nose,tiny antennae and organza wings.Peony stands on a base with sweet vintage clover blooms to nibble on .She can be removed from base . Weighted .One only.
