Sleepytime Tales

Sleeptime Tales
2 inch (5cm) bear made from vintage long pile velvet with onyx eyes and embroidered nose .He wears a felt nightcap and has left his slippers and socks and climbed up his ladder to bed . He  is tucked up under his patchwork quilt with a nursery rhyme book. The toadstool next to him serves as a table for his candle light .

Huggy

 Huggy is a 2.5 inch (6.5cm) bear made from vintage long pile velvet  with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose . He wears a bee print top and has his own honey pot !

Polly

Polly is a 2 1/4 inch (5.5cm) bear made from vintage long pie velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .She wears cute overalls in a floral pattern and a ribbon band around her head with a rose .She pulls a tiny snail on wheels .

Morning Glory

 Tiny Morning Glory is just 1.5 inches (4cm) tall and made from vintage velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .She has tiny wired wings and a bow on one ear .I have made her flower from pleated silk and with a wired leaf .

Lilibeth

Lilibeth is a 2.5 inch (6.5cm) bear made from vintage long pile velvet  with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .She wears a very pretty cotton print dress with antique lace trim and has a matching bonnet in ruffled lace with ribbon rosebuds.
Lilibeth carries a lace dolly bag with a tiny rabbit tucked inside .

Orchid

Tiny Orchid is just 1.5 inches (4cm) and made from vintage velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .She has a vintage lace ruffle and a tiny bow on one ear and peeps out amongst the vintage flower posy .This can be worn as a brooch and has a pin back .One only

Pili - pala

Pili-Pala (Welsh for butterfly) is made from hand dyed vintage and new long pile velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .She is 2 1/4 inches ( 5.5cm) tall and has wired wings made from decorated net and antennae .

Jimbo

Jimbo is a 2.5 inch (6.5cm) bear , (not including hat ) made from long pile vintage and new velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .He wears a very colourful Liberty lawn print clown suit with multi coloured tassels on his feet and hat .

Franklin

Franklin is a 2.5 inch (6.5cm) gold bear made from vintage long pile velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered  blue nose .He wears a stars and stripes waistcoat with tiny brass buttons , a red bow tie and a top hat in the same fabrics . Weighted .One only

Lady

Lady is a 2 1/4 inch bear made from vintage velvet  and new velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose . She is cream , red and black .She wears a red / black spotted skirt and wired net wings and has a little black cap with antennae .

Pollen the bee bear is made from hand dyed deep yellow and very dark blue vintage velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose .He is 2.5 inches (6.5 cm). He has wired net wings and carries a vintage flower .

Oink

Oink is a 2 1/4 inch (5.5cm) bear made from vintage velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered nose. Oink is wearing a piggy costume made from a salmon pink vintage velvet .He has a little curly tail , silk bow and wears his snout mask around his neck.

Freddie

Freddie is a 2.5 inch (6.5cm) bear in pale green vintage long pile velvet with onyx eyes and an embroidered pink  nose .
He wears cotton overalls with a cute frog pattern and holds his fishing net and a jar full of tadpoles that he has collected .
